London Underground is to use classic underground posters to encourage people to get on the tube and explore the city.
LU and the London Transport Museum selected the classic posters from its archive of designs. The vintage posters from the 1920s and 1930s have slogans such as 'The daffodils are out - what about you?' and 'Spring beckons you!'
LU's spokesman said the posters were created to encourage Londoners to use the Tube as one of the 'quickest and most reliable ways to see more of their city' and added 'That remains true to this day, and we hope 21st century Tube users will enjoy these posters just as much.'
